Landlords and tenants: watch this space for our new Newport office!

After three years, busily building our specialist lettings business from Langstone Business Park, we’re making our Newport city centre debut on 30 September.

Here at Red Key Property Services we’ve seen our business expand massively – including establishing other bases in Bristol, Swansea and Cardiff.  But our roots are in Newport, and we felt it was time to “open shop” and have a more convivial place to meet our ever-growing roster of clients.

Our new premises at 21 Bridge Street – in the centre of Newport’s estate agency district – will act both as our headquarters and as a “shop front” for prospective new tenants and landlords, as well as developers and corporate investors.

And to celebrate the opening, we’ll be offering new landlords 50% off their set up fee and new tenants will receive a welcome pack when they move into their new home – including tea, coffee, chocolates, biscuits and wine.

It’s really been an exceptional couple of years for us and – quite simply – we’ve outgrown our current home. Newport especially has seen a real boom in house and apartment lettings: more and more people want to rent, and it’s one of the few places regionally with lots of new properties being built to meet that demand.

At the same time, properties locally can be bought at prices well below those in other parts of the country – making the returns for buy-to-let landlords very attractive.

To keep pace with demand, the Red Key team has also been growing apace – making it impossible to stay where we are. We started with just three back in 2010 – now we are up to eight. The secret of our success?  We think we bring something very different to the market by being so focused on lettings, so we really do know our local markets.Over the coming weeks we will be marking our arrival in Newport with a series of events and special offers.

On the evening of Thursday 3rd October, there will be an “opinion formers” evening where local business leaders will be gathering to discuss the housing and property market as well as network.

The mood lightens on Saturday 5th October, when there will be a family fun day held at 21 Bridge Street.  The new branch will be officially opened by Owen Evans from Newport Gwent Dragons, and there will also be a chance to win VIP match day tickets and a signed rugby shirt – as well as children’s entertainment and a colouring competition.

So do make time to drop in and see us – whether you’re considering being a landlord, looking for a top quality place to rent, or you’re a developer who wants to check out your options: we have lots of prospective landlords looking to invest, so perhaps you can sell that development off-plan!
